Last night marked a memorable milestone for Tonbridge Amateur Boxing Club as we held our very first annual awards night — a celebration of hard work, dedication, and the spirit that drives our community.
While many awards were handed out to recognise the achievements of our boxers and team, there was one very special award that we kept under wraps for a deserving individual who has been central to the club’s success.
Ant, our Head Coach, was presented with The Anthony Grove Award by Tommy Tanner. This award is named after our Founder and CEO, Anthony Grove, and it is a tribute to the qualities that embody Tonbridge A.B.C’s spirit — courage, perseverance, determination, ambition, and heart.
Ant’s commitment over the past year, pouring his energy and passion into helping the club grow and supporting every boxer’s journey, has been truly inspiring. This award is not just a recognition of past achievements, but a symbol that Ant will pass on to future recipients each year.
This moment was a powerful reminder of the people who make Tonbridge A.B.C more than just a boxing club — it’s a community built on shared dreams and hard work.
Here’s to the beating heart of T.A.B.C, Anthony Grove, and to the inspiring leaders who carry his vision forward. 🦁💛
