We're proud to share that Ant has been recognised at the BBC Make a Difference Awards for his outstanding volunteer work with Tonbridge Amateur Boxing Club.
Ant gives an extraordinary amount of time to the Club - often close to 40 hours a week - helping to guide and support people in our community through boxing. His dedication has created opportunities for many who benefit from this structure, discipline and a sense of purpose the sport provides. You can catch his interview here.
About the Award
The BBC Make a Difference Awards celebrates individuals who make a real difference in their communities. This year, the Club Committee nominated Anthony for his commitment to help others, and we're delighted to say he brought the award home (see if you can spot where it is at the club!)

Community at Heart
Tonbridge Amatuer Boxing Club is run entirely by volunteers who give their time and effort to keep the club running and sustain the project. From training sessions to community outreach, everything we do is built on the belief that boxing can change lives for the better.
Supporting the Work
We're always looking for ways to sustain and grow what we do. The club provides a safe and positive environment for people who need it, but relies on local support to keep it running.
If you're interested in helping us continue our work - through fundraising, sponsorship or volunteering - please get in touch. Together as a community, we can keep providing opportunities for people to thrive.
